A Cozy Corner for Concentration: Discover the Partners’ Study Lounge at Steiner Hall
Looking for a peaceful, inviting spot to focus on your studies? Academic Advising invites all students to explore the Partners’ Study Lounge, located on the top floor of Steiner Hall.
Opened in 2021 as a dedicated space for the Partners in Education program, the lounge has become a popular study hub, hosting program events and offering a welcoming environment for members to work on their academic projects. Now, this cozy, plant-filled space is open to the entire student community, available daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the academic semester.
Kate Ferraro, interim assistant dean of Academic Success, shares “It’s a very different workspace from other areas on campus. It’s full of plants, comfy seating, school supplies, and snacks. It’s a wonderful space for body doubling.”
An open-ended survey by Academic Advising shows that students love the lounge’s “homey and cozy atmosphere,” “soft lighting,” and “productive vibe.”
As the semester progresses, the College encourages students to visit the Partners’ Study Lounge and Academic Advising, finding both a space to concentrate and a community to support them.
